| The manufacturer warrants the part to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. It applies only to manufacturing defects present at the time of production and does not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, improper installation, modification, normal wear and tear, accidents, or environmental conditions. The manufacturer’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective product, at its discretion, and does not include labor, removal, reinstallation, or any consequential or incidental damages. |
Core Information
What is a core?
The core is your old engine, crankshaft, cylinders etc. The core must include all of the like parts that were included in your purchase (including the nuts and bolts) and be returned to SBT within 14 days of receipt of your purchased item to avoid late fees. We do not accept aftermarket parts or ported cylinders/cases.
Continental US Orders:
Exchange items are based on a round-trip shipping charge unless the core is required first. For sales within the US, SBT does not charge a core deposit up front, however all pricing is on an exchange basis assuming return of the core.
International Orders:
All customers outside the Continental US, require the core exchange prior to the shipment of exchange goods. Please refer to the International Sales page for additional information, or email intl-sales@SBT.com
